Job Summary
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building relationships with prospective clients, and supporting revenue growth. The role involves outbound outreach, coordination with marketing and internal teams, maintaining sales pipelines, and ensuring consistent follow-ups with potential customers.
Key Responsibilities
- dentify and develop new business opportunities through various outbound and inbound channels.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, and digital platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions in coordination with internal teams.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Generate and qualify leads through cold outreach, referrals, online platforms, and databases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect data in the CRM system.
- Track lead status, interactions, and follow-up activities.
- Support pipeline management and reporting activities.
Client Engagement & Appointments
- Schedule meetings and appointments with qualified prospects.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth conduct of meetings.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and communication with prospects after discussions.
Marketing & Outreach Support
- Support marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and content-driven engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align business development efforts with branding activities.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and pitch documents.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular activity and performance reports.
- Maintain documentation related to leads, meetings, proposals, and client communications.
- Provide insights and feedback to improve business development strategies.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong B2B sales and client engagement skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Negotiation and consultative selling capabilities
- Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines
- Result-driven and self-motivated approach
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience:3–5 years in Business Development, B2B Sales, or IT Sales
- Proven experience in B2B and IT services sales
- Microsoft product knowledge preferred, including familiarity with Microsoft solutions and offerings
- Prior exposure to enterprise or mid-market clients is an advantage
