Project Scope

The project aimed to create a unified platform for Couto leveraging the following Microsoft technologies: 

Dynamics 365 Sales & Field Service: 

  • Dynamics 365 Sales replaced Couto’s existing system, offering a robust platform for managing customer interactions, appointments, measurements (integrated Hover API), estimates, contracts, and mobile access for sales reps. Sales managers gained desktop applications for streamlined lead assignment, performance evaluation, and reporting. 
  • Dynamics 365 Field Service transformed work order management, scheduling, dispatching, crew coordination, inventory management, and job scheduling. Features included mobile applications for crew check-in, capturing job site photos, and updating work order status in real-time. Production managers and project coordinators benefited from desktop applications for efficient project management. 

Power Apps & Power Automate:

Custom workflows were developed using Power Apps and Power Automate to automate tasks across departments. This included automating processes like lead qualification, quote generation, work order approvals, and generating reports. By automating manual tasks, Power Apps and Power Automate significantly reduced workload and streamlined operations. 

Power BI Integration:
